Kim Faasse, HCEC Youth Director

HCEC is PROUD of our Youth!

From the Youth Director…

I feel the need to share with all of you that I am so encouraged today. I have just come back from the Youth Specialties Conference in Austin, and I must say that God’s word is alive!!! Before I went, I must admit that I was feeling a little apprehensive about the conference. Most of my encounters with other youth minister’s have been filled with little or none of God’s word, but after going and hearing the many speakers and seminar topics, I was just flabbergasted. Not only is God’s word alive, but also it is actually being used in other churches around the nation. Okay, so I already knew that, but I guess I just haven’t seen it much close to home. I have gone to other conferences before to find new and inventive ways to use God’s word in our program, but they all came up very short. I really feel like God is moving in our youth, and He is making real changes. I ask that you please pray for our program, our youth, and me!! Please pray that God will be ever present in all that we do and that we will always intentionally glorify God. Thank you so much for all of your support. I am truly appreciative to all of you that support our youth program. Without you, we would not be able to do the things that we do. Thank you so much.

Volunteers Needed

Would you like to volunteer to help with our youth?. There are spaces open for Sunday night adult volunteers, dinner volunteers, and trips/retreats volunteers. If you are interested in helping with our youth program, please email Kim at hcyouthminister@yahoo.com or call at 281.353.9169.
