On Expedition with the One True God

Greetings from the Amazon Rain Forest!!!

Today’s lesson comes from Psalm 32:8 (NIV). It reads,

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.”

The life application for this verse is:  Because God is Lord of all, I can follow HIm and show respect to all people.

Our expedition in the Amazon Rain Forest at Holy Comforter has come to an end.  We are sad to say “Goodbye” to our Outfittters, but have enjoyed every second of their time with us!  It has been an adventurous expedition with the One True God. We hope that you will join us this coming Sunday, June 30th at our 10:30 am service for our closing of this VBS session.  Your Outfitters will sing and sign songs they have learned during the service. Following the service, you and your Outfitters can visit the craft and game lagoons. 

Please don’t forget to view our outfitters on the monitors in the Snack Lagoon in the Parish Hall.  We will also be posting pictures from the entire week on our website soon!

Editor's Note:  A well-deserved and heartfelt thanks from all outfitters' families and the parishioners of Holy Comforter to the terrific team which brought this Amazon adventure to the children of our community.  (You can see below a picture of many of the young people who helped out this past week.)  There are too many people to list in this space but hopefully you will get an opportunity to thank them in person this coming Sunday.  God bless you, everyone!
